This is from several weeks ago. We were driving over the bridge, and the sky seemed typical of Portland’s sunshine mixed with storm clouds of this time of year.
Let me tell you something about this fucking bridge–it’s the highest point of the Portland Marathon, and to get there you basically have a 3/4th of a mile run straight up this really intense hill. This happens about 17 miles into the race, and it usually destroys any reserves you have. Just looking at the St. Johns bridge makes my calves cramp up and my back throb. Good picture, though. 🙂
